Established in 2003, the Downtown Village Development Corporation (incorporated as Durham Village Development Corporation) is a not-for-profit organization. Its mission is to identify and pursue development opportunities, create partnerships, and advocate for and promote initiatives that stimulate business and residential investment in Sudbury's historic core.  

 

DVDC is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, which consists of downtown property and business owners and citizens of Greater Sudbury.
